Lotus Evora Sport 410: Less weight and more power for the definitive British toy

Lotus lately is unstoppable. In little over a month we have seen the arrival of the new Lotus Exige Sport 350, followed by Elise Cup 250, and now the brand renews one of its flagship models, the Lotus Evora Sport 410, direct successor of the known Evora 400. As is usual, developments go through the extensive use of carbon fiber to reduce weight and slight mechanical optimizations to make the best of sports.

And nobody will be surprised if I say that the maxim of Lotus has always been to show the world that less is more. Therefore, the new Evora Sport 410 has lost 70 kilograms of weight on the scale and has won 10 extra horses becoming an authentic 'toy' of 1,325 kg capable of reaching 100 km / h from standstill in just 3.9 seconds.

To achieve the mark has come to its sporty two-seater by what they themselves call the 'Lightweight Laboratory' weight- reduction-laboratory, optimizing all vehicle components to add lightness to the whole. Thus, the Lotus Evora Sport 410 now features a whole cast of elements in carbon fiber, such as door panels or the tailgate, in addition to new wheels multi-spoke 19-inch alloy on the front axle and 20 inches in the back, both shod with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2.

Cosmetic changes are reduced, focusing on the addition of various aerodynamic appendages carbon fiber passing a new front splitter, new side skirts, a prominent rear diffuser and a discreet spoiler at the rear. Inside not missing the sport seats and carbon fiber and Alcantara leather upholstery and can be customized through the newly released Lotus brand Exclusive program.
Complementing the excellent aerodynamics of sports (it has an aerodynamic load 15% higher without compromising strength) found under the hood a new version of the well known block V6 3.5-liter supercharged Lotus, able to develop this time a total of 416 horses (305 kW) at 7,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 410 Nm from 3,500 laps. With such figures, the Evora Sport 410 has a top speed of 300 km / h (280 km / h with the automatic transmission).

Additionally and for the more adventurous, the Lotus Dynamic Performance Management (DPM) now has a new sport that provides enhanced throttle response, reduced thresholds skid control and elimination of recognition of understeer, which is translates directly into greater driving pleasure.

But not everything will be power without any control. The Lotus team has done a great job of engineering so that they will not escape even the smallest detail in terms of performance, reviewing the suspension components to improve its geometry and lower the ride height 5 mm. Its launch is expected in June 2016 (except in the US), with production limited to 150 units per year. Its price, between 105,000 and 110,000 euros depending on the market.

Additionally, if you need some of the car accessories, such as, 4 usb car charger, 5 inch sat nav case, etc. Anything you desire you can purchase at Banggood, one of the wholesale platform that provides the low prices.
